Very unfriendly waitress who didn't want to give us a card when we wanted one because we didn't know what the cafe had on offer was asked, they wanted a card, we did, then the card was slammed onto the table and it was gone Service. Well, since we were not wanted, we went without cake and coffee

The cake tasted completely artificial, which was easy to spot. The short pastry base was almost 2cm high at the back. The cake was also old. First and last visit. The cheap cakes from the supermarkets are even better than that.

Many reserved places where no one is sitting; So it makes sense to reserve yourself. My cherry and poppy seed cake was very tasty, my wife's nut and egg liqueur cake was very compact and was hard on her stomach. The service was very friendly.

Tasteful café where you like to stay. You will be served friendly, the ordered food and drinks usually but quite quickly and can treat yourself in a sophisticated atmosphere a break from everyday life. A plus for older people is the relatively easy accessibility without obstacles. We can recommend the visit here, come back for about 20 years and greet you warmly.

Once again tried the lunch, once roasted salmon, really great with potato dumplings, once apple strudel with vanilla ice cream. As always great prepared and tasted even better. All in all a nice variation for lunch. Always worthwhile to go over there.

Average restaurant with average food. They gave us the menu in German and told us that they didn't have it neither in English nor in other languages. When we asked for some help with the menu, they didn't worry about that and didn't help us.

Really nice cafe in the middle of Bad Mergentheim. The selection of cakes / pies is great and tasted wonderful. The breakfast can also be recommended and the staff is very nice.

i visited schloss cafe several times during my stay in bad mergentheim. this is one of the very few cafes that opens 7 days a week till 10pm daily (or till even later) which is great! the staff are friendly and helpful, and quite a few of them speak good english. this is a big plus for english speakers like me! the dessert menu of cakes and ice cream is simply irresistible! the wide selection of cakes are all made inhouse. 5 stars for them! we also tried their new menu of lamb and yellow-fin tuna. the perfectly cooked lamb is succulent and beautifully presented! the tuna is seared precisely and it is extremely tender! overall, 6 stars for schloss cafe!!!
